Best Beaches in Phuket! Below, in no order of importance are the Best beaches in Phuket. Deserted and paradisical, or exotic and cosmopolitan, there’s a beach here for every occasion!

Tick them off your list one by one, and have a drink on me in each one you go!

Phuket, aka the beautiful rain forested island surrounded by mountains in the Andaman Sea. Home to some of Thailand’s most popular beaches and clearest waters of the western shore! It also home to many high-end seaside resorts, spas, restaurants, markets, and bars.

The Activities in Phuket are plentiful and there is no shortage of ways to fill your days! There are also fantastic Phuket restaurants you will love exploring and will suit any budget!

There are also other fantastic Thailand islands for you to visit. My two favorites are Koh Samui and of course, Phi Phi islands. Combine those two with your Phuket Holiday and i promise you an unforgettable time in Thailand!

P.S Make sure you stay healthy and safe from any Exotic Diseases whilst you travel! There is so much exploring to do!

Get a taste of the millionaire lifestyle at Surin Beach

Surin Beach, otherwise known as ‘’Millionaires Row’’ is your one-stop destination to the perfect celebrity hunt spot and luxury resorts.

An 800 m idyllic beach, with crystal clear blue water and a clean white sandy beach that is perfectly surrounded by exotic palm trees.

Surrounding the beach are the luxurious and impressive houses of the rich and famous of the world, like the Beckhams, Robbie Williams, and Damien Hirst.

The neighborhood has stunning views from the beach and forest, trendy wine bars and high-end cuisine restaurants.

Surin Beach Top Tip

For an off-the-beaten-path experience, rent a boat from Surin beach to go to the elusive Laem Gign beach!! This tropical Caribbean looking beach was closed to the public 2 years ago due to a dispute with the owner of the surrounding land.

As a result, no one is allowed to cross thereby land now, but you are allowed to cross by sea. Surin Beach is, for now, the only place providing access.

The boat costs a mere 100 THB per person or 400 THB for the whole boat and will pick u up and drop you back to Surin beach a couple of hours later.

This tip is not widely known yet at the time of print! So make the most of it and travel to paradise without the crowds!

Create memories forever in the dreamy Nai Harn Beach

No Thai holiday is complete without a picture-perfect experience (or ten) in an idyllic paradise beach.

Enter Nai Harn Beach In all its dreamy postcard perfection!

Tucked behind lush green hills and little islands in the South of Phuket, There is no denying that Nai Harn is a popular beach. Yet, it still remains untouched and gives the feeling of traveling to a remote and unknown location.

Crystal clear waters and beautiful soft sand, with large trees providing a burst of green and much-needed shade.

The protected bay is frequently used as an anchor point to luxury yachts and boats and much loved by both locals and tourists. Various restaurants, shops, and hotels complete the scene.

Such a lovely day to spend time appreciating the true meaning of Thai Paradise.

Be sure to have a massage at the beach too! The sound of crashing waves while you are deep into having a relaxing massage will forever remain in my memories

Food in Nai Harn Beach

At lunchtime, when you’ve had enough of the busy but rarely crowded beach, your only worry would be between choosing from the many beach restaurant. There, you will find traditional Thai cuisine at affordable prices.

For an upscale option – pop into the Nai Harn resort– their rooftop restaurant is fantastic!

Fall in Love with Ya Nui beach

The equally popular Ya Nui beach is next to Nai Harn Beach (on the main road, to your east).

Ya Nui is here to prove that sometimes, the best things really do come in small packages!

One of the smallest beaches in Phuket, it might be only 200m but its striking scenery, crystal clear water and fluffy white sand make it a popular spot for locals and tourists alike.

This Beach also offers a good selection of restaurants and accommodations nearby.

Tip: Climb the rocks for that perfect IG photo with contrasting colors and backdrops.. do it for the gram! 😉

Discover Thai Paradise in Kata Noi Beach

The smaller version of the famous Kata Beach – Kata Noi literally translated to ”Little Kata Beach”.

An only 700m beach that simply screams paradise! I personally prefer this beach as it is much quieter than the Kata beach.

Being an island girl living in Cyprus, I have had my fill of GORGEOUS beaches, stuffed to the brim with people. So when I am away I am always in search of something equally exotic and stunning, without the crowds!

Mix with the locals at Kamala Beach

A relaxed, quieter stretch of sand, situated north from the popular, chaotic Patong.

The protected, well-protected bay also doubles as a fishing village, and its surroundings of hills and forests make it absolutely gorgeous!

Kamala is a dream for tourists, who want to avoid other tourists (me, in a single sentence).

Quaint, quieter and authentically Thai, Kamala hasn’t been ”ruined” by excessive tourism, and its raw Thai Beauty is why locals and expats living in Phuket prefer it the most.

Various luxurious accommodations such as seaside villas and bungalows make it ideal for families, or people looking to explore Thailand a little further than the tourist hot spots.

Discover Exclusivity at Freedom Beach

Being accessible only by longboat or by walking downhill down a very steep footpath, Freedom beach offers unpretentiously chilled out vibes.

It exhumes an air of exclusivity without the usual hustle and bustle of the more popular easier access beaches.

Quiet and absolutely stunning, there are no water sports, Jet skis or vendors selling items, but there are a couple of restaurants in the area, and even sunbeds for hire on the beach.

In my opinion, a perfect balance of ”off the beaten path location, with some modern amenities” type of beach.

Be a happy tourist at Patong Beach

Not the most exclusive, but no post on Phuket can be complete without a mention to the iconic Patong Beach. This 2.5 km beach, is relatively busy all over, and if you are a tourist in Phuket, you will find yourself there at some point! Home to a lot of restaurants, shops, and hotels, and Phuket’s finest nightlife scene, Patong beach is a place you will never get bored in. A fun beach with a lively and busy atmosphere, tons of activities, and of course convenience for days when you simply don’t want to do much. We all deserve a lazy day on the beach, especially one that is mere footsteps from some of the busiest hotels in Phuket! Tip: Patong, as with most of Phuket, is best enjoyed in Thailand’s dry season. The beaches can get pretty rough during the monsoon!

Approximately 200m of pure paradise in a picture-perfect beach! Think palm trees, turquoise calm waters, and white sand.

The beautiful Paradise Beach Club is located on the beach, meaning you have your choice of luxury or off the beaten path experience to choose from.

Home to many beach parties, Paradise beach also offers restaurants, bars, and sun loungers and kayaks for hire.

A day at paradise beach is a day well spent!
