Now this had to come first, because i am obsessed! Burger Guy is actually located in Paliometocho, a village just outside of the city of Nicosia – but worry not, you are only a 10 minute drive away from the burger of your dreams…!

Why do I love it so much you ask? Well for starters, the actual burger is all about the beef – IBS sufferers like me will be happy to know that it also contains no onions or garlic! You really taste the meat – it’s not greasy, it’s not dry.. its perfection! The fries are hand-cut, local Cypriot potatoes – and trust me, they are out of this world! In fact, nothing is frozen..everything you eat is fresh, and that shows!

Look at the order form below – a really cute touch! You choose your single, double, or triple burger and then go crazy picking your choice of 25 free toppings! Along with your burger, come a pair of black gloves, so you can go nuts without getting your hands dirty! My personal favorite? Bacon, Cheese, Egg, Mushrooms and Guy Sauce. The result? A Heavenly burger with its rightful first place in this Best Burgers in Cyprus list.

Tia’s Tip: Burger Guy has added some pretty incredible looking milkshakes and donuts on the menu. I am lactose intolerant, so I haven’t tried them..if you do, let me know your opinion!

Vegetarians and vegans can enjoy a veggie burger, along with a vegan bun too!

Moondogs Bar and Grill

Moondogs needs no introductions! This is an absolute staple and favorite in Nicosia, and it attracts people of all ages for its burgers, beer, and sports. The menu includes not one, not two, but 17 mammoth burgers to choose from – and all of them lack nothing in size, imagination, and taste. The food menu is huge and includes everything, from starters to pasta, salads, succulent steaks, fish and other mains, and desserts. The burgers are the real stars here, and the beer too! The choice of local and imported beer is so large, they have a dedicated beer menu – need I say more?

A few interesting choices:

Peanut Butter Burger – With peanut butter, whole grain mustard, bacon and caramelized onions.

Straffe Hendrik Burger –  With Straffe Hendrik Quadrupel beer sauce, honey, crispy bacon, and onion rings.

The Viking Of 6th Avenue- With cheddar cheese, pickled gherkin, caramelized onions, tomato and lettuce. Topped off with a whole spicy sausage and mustard on the top of the bun.

Vegan Option: The Quinoa Black Bean – a burger made from quinoa, carrot, oats, zucchini, chickpeas, cooked fresh onion, sweet corn and sweet potato, served in wholegrain bread with tahini sauce, lettuce and tomato.

Artisans Burger bar

 Artisans is a classy, refined, and utterly gorgeous burger bar, where everything is made from scratch. The patties – beef, chicken, veggie, beetroot vegan, and shrimp – are handmade daily. The bread is free from additives and baked fresh each morning! The choice of cheeses is insane – and you will love taking your pick from Gruyere, Chevre goats cheese, aged cheddar, fresh mozzarella, or brezain smoked cheese. The cheese sauce is a staple at Artisans, so be sure to try it!

As far as sauces are concerned, you will probably have a hard time choosing between guacamole , pesto, chimichurri, chili, mushroom and barbeque sauces that are of course…made from scratch ) 

It is important to add that you can find a lot more than meat burgers. Vegan and pescatarian options are in fact delicious, and easy to find! Below, you will see the menu, so have a look at the Alternative Burgerbar section in the menu and also the Bitesbar.

Artisans Menu

A thing I admire about Artisans is that although it has been going on successfully for years, it doesn’t stop evolving and looking for ways to include the whole community. In the menu here, you will find many, new and exciting additions worth looking at. Apart from the vegan options mentioned above, there is a salad menu, a special lunch menu, steaks and meat cuts, fish, kids menu and desserts.

All in all, Artisans is a favorite of mine for years and rightly so. Suitable for dinner dates, lunch meetings, large gatherings and everything in between – with a menu to cater to every taste, every need, and every age. Best Burgers in Cyprus? Yeap, Artisans is clearly one of them!

Now Limoncello Deli is not a dedicated burger bar, but it serves burgers that are delicious enough to hold a righteous place in this best burgers in Cyprus list! The indoors is cozy, the outdoors oozes character, and the dress code is relaxed!

Some of my favorites?

The Noble Aussie– aka the king of meat! 100% Australian Wagyu beef, topped with Tranches de Brie cheese, black truffle mayo, fresh rucola, and served with truffle-Parmigiano fresh fries.

The Italian Stallion – A Black Angus beef patty, crispy prosciutto, melted mozzarella, cherry tomato confit, rucola & pesto mayo.

The double Texan – pictured below – suitable for big boys only!

Pescatarians – try the Lost Tourist burger, a Prawn Burger with mango/cucumber/kouloumbra coleslaw, homemade guacamole, and Sriracha mayo. And guess what- you can choose a vegan bread bun too!

Vegans: Fear not, as you have the choice to remove the meat from any burger, and replace it with a Beyond vegan patty and vegan bread bun!

Syno Flame Grill

Syno Flame Grill sets out to make the best burgers in Larnaca – and to tell you the truth; they are doing a good job at it! 19 beef burgers await, along with 2 chicken burgers and a veggie burger option. The sauces elevate the dishes fully -choose between mango curry, jalapeno spicy, peanut butter, burger sauce and so many more!

The fries are chunky, crunchy, and impressively well seasoned, and in case you have extra space…order the spare ribs!

San Pedro Street Food

oohhh I really like this place! And here, it really is all about the burgers. Love the menu concept, of single, double, triple, or half kilo burgers (yes, I did say one kilo) with a few sides and sauces – no mess and no fuss!

Don’t confuse simplicity with taste though, because these guys know what they are doing – the burgers are phenomenal and consistently so, every time I’ve visited! The cheese and bacon fries are pretty addictive too, I’m not going to lie!

Vegans rejoice! Not only one, but three vegan options here (I’m not even vegan but I’m excited for you!) My personal obsession? The crispy Portobello Burger pictured below..yum!

IT Burger

Holy Moly! 46 beef burgers, 3 chicken burgers, and 1 vegetarian burger await at IT burger, and the impressive menu alone, wins its place in the best burgers in Cyprus.

Vegetarians and Vegans can finally take a break from quinoa or bean burgers and tuck into the ”Portobello Pleasure” – with Crunchy portobello mushroom, onion rings, fresh tomato and iceberg!

Jemm’s American

If you like steak burgers, Jemm’s is the place to be! No fancy names here- but real, honest and delicious food!

Highly recommend the New York cheese steak sandwich, and the Chilli Chicken Fillet burger.

There is no vegan burger, BUT they do have a mean looking veggie sandwich with hot sauce!

Best Burgers in Limassol

The Fat Bull

I am proudly presenting… Cyprus’s best burger bar of 2019 – as voted by customers on social media! This burger bar is only available for delivery, therefore perfect for lazy Netflix nights, in need of excellent food.

Check out the menu which ranges from a wide variety of burgers, ribs, wings, and fries. The wings and ribs are pretty incredible if I may say so myself!

When it comes to the burgers, there is a choice of 10, and 9 of them are made from 100% beef for the ultimate taste payout.

”The Survivor Burger” is a beast- 2 beef patties AND pulled pork, cheese, coleslaw, pickles, dried onion flakes, fatbull sauce and redneck BBQ sauce

Vegans and Vegetarians should try ”The Virgin Burger”! This one is made of Fallafel, rocket, tomato, and tahini. Keep it as it is or turn your burger entirely vegan by replacing the bun!

Barbacoa

Barbacoa is…sophisticated, and utterly elegant! Additionally, they make incredible burgers too! Their platters and burgers are luxuriously smoked for 18 hours, and the brioche buns are super soft. At Barbacoa, you will find only one black Angus burger – made from the brisket, which is both the lean and fatty part of the beef. There is also a turkey burger, a pulled pork burger, and a pork belly burger.

The sides are as equally luxurious – like the truffle and parmesan fries, and delicious creamy mac and cheese! Eating here is a beautiful affair, and well worth the few extra euros!

Argos Burger

Argos arguably does the best burgers in Paphos, and their 5* ratings across Tripadvisor, Facebook, and Google seem to agree! This place is cool, chilled, and friendly with rock music in the background that feels like you are visiting a friend’s house – one with exquisite food and special quirky decor.

18 mouthwatering burgers await along with other meat cuts, tacos and salads for an all rounder menu.

Vegans: Try the ”Ovo Lacto” Burger – a vegan made with quinoa and sweet potato and topped off with a soft vegan bread bun

Welcome to the best burgers in Cyprus dear Bur-ger! The proud winner of the travelers choice of 2020, this burger house, is young, hip, fresh and utterly delicious.

The menu is simple and to the point. You can make your own beef, chicken, or veggie burger or choose from a choice of 6 burgers. Other than that, the menu has wings, ribs, and fries. Simple, awesome, and freaking delicious!

Malthouse has been a favorite in Protaras, ever since it opened its doors in 2012. The extensive food and beer menu is packed to the brim with food and drink options – from ribs to steaks, burgers, salads, and everything in between!

When it comes to the burgers, i personally love the Cyprus Burger (with halloumi and lountza) as well as the pulled pork burger!

Vegans and vegetarians have 3 choices of burgers: A salmon burger, the Beyond burger, and the awesome zucchini burger – that;s served in a green bun with basil!
