My Thailand

I had the most incredible time exploring Thailand! I spent over a month there and divided my time into different islands. My favorite by far was Koh Samui and the Phi Phi Islands. I got mixed feelings about Phuket!

I loved the activities in Phuket, and I also loved the vast choice of Phuket restaurants and nightlife. There are incredible beaches in Phuket too; just not during the monsoon (Click here to find out when that is).

You see, during the monsoon, Phuket beaches are windy and grey – a surfers dream most likely. Definitely not my ideal beach though. It is also wetter in Phuket, so I would advise you not to spend your entire holiday in one place!

A good travel agency like Travel Pass can custom make a trip to perfection; instead of selling you the same unoriginal packages everyone else gets. I have made all my travels through Travel Pass, long before I became a travel writer! So think outside the box…demand more for your money!

My favorite island in Thailand, Koh Samui is a place I cannot wait to revisit. Top-notch beach bars, fine dining, incredible street food! Jungle safari, massages on the beach, roaming monkeys…need I say more?

You have to try very, very hard not to fall in love with Phi Phi Islands. Striking images that will remain in the back of your head for years to come! This archipelago of Islands is truly one of a kind. Swimming monkeys, beaches straight out of a postcard, incredible views and a chilled out atmosphere. Phi Phi Islands are simply magical.

Phuket is an island packed with goodness, and most importantly Elephant Sanctuaries! I have been in love with elephants since I was a child, but I refuse to finance animal abuse. Thankfully in Phuket, all my wishes came true! Additionally, the activities in Phuket are awesome, the beaches are insane (in the summer) and the food is amazing!
